- The cost of living will continue to rise, and more people will lose their homes.
- Local governments will lay more people off, and corporations will ship more jobs overseas
- CEO salaries will increase, but wages for the rest of us will decrease.
- Minimum wage laws and other worker protections will be gutted.
- Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, unemployment compensation, and veterans’ benefits will be drastically reduced or eliminated.
- The rich will get more tax breaks, and the poor and middle class will pay more taxes.
- The wars in the Middle East will continue so corporations can keep making huge profits.

Republicans Will Cut Public Services

- Funding for our public schools will be slashed. Your children and grandchildren will get a lousy education unless you can afford private schools.
- As police and firefighters are laid off, expect a longer response time to emergencies, and an increase in crime and property loss.
- Cutting government regulations will threaten the safety of our food, air, water, medications, roads, bridges, airports, hospitals, and work places.
- Wall Street and banks will have more freedom to speculate wildly with your money, and credit card companies will be able to charge hidden fees.
- As public health services are cut back, sickness and disease will increase.
- Many public services will be turned over to private companies, which will provide less service and charge more so they can make big profits.

Republicans Will Repeal the Affordable Health Care Act a/k/a Obamacare

- Private insurance companies will be able to turn you down for past medical conditions, and will be able to drop your coverage if you get sick.
- Private insurance companies will be able to charge whatever they want.
- Millions of Americans will be denied health care and emergency rooms will be flooded.
- We will have one of the worst health care systems in the western world.

Republicans Will Give More Power to the Super-Rich and Corporations
|
- The right to fair elections will be lost as corporations continue to pour millions of dollars into campaigns, and as state legislatures refuse to draw fair districts.
- Registering to vote and voting will become even more difficult.
- Whatever is left of honest government will be lost as ethics rules decrease and lobbying increases.
- The right to collective bargaining will disappear as unions are finally smashed.
- Equal rights for women will be blocked.
- Freedom of the press will disappear as a few big corporations gain control of all the media.
- We will become an even more divided country - hate groups will flourish.
