Political question:
Why do Republican insist on calling themselves conservatives? Conservatives are supposed to protect the status quo. It seems like the Democrats are more conservative than the extreme right wing extremism of a party that is trying to dismantle the government, dismantle social security and medicare, dismantle our education system...etc. I think it would be more accurate to call the Republicans "Plutarchs" {Plutocracy is rule by the wealthy, or power provided by wealth. The combination of both plutocracy and Oligarchy
is called plutarchy. - wikoedia} and Democrats "Conservatives".
